Can I come for just 1 day a week?

Yes! We appreciate that different families have different needs and want to accommodate these. However, as a community, the more time we spend together the stronger we are. Eventually building up to 2 days is encouraged but not a necessity if this is a barrier to accessing Fell Kin.

What is your admissions policy and process?

If you are interested in joining Fell Kin, the first step is to get in touch.

We can arrange for you to visit and see if our setting feels right for your family. We also hold occasional gatherings and events, and you are very welcome to join us for these.

Before committing, we will arrange some trial days to make sure that Fell Kin is a good fit for both your young person and the community.

How much does Fell Kin cost?

Attendance for one day a week is £35 per day
Attendance for two days a week is £30 per day
We also offer a sibling rate of £20 per day

This is payable in half-termly blocks or via monthly subscriptions throughout the year. However, if you need to pay a different amount please get in touch.

What is your policy around phones and screens?

We are co-creating our online, screen and phone policy as a community with our young people. However, as an organisation, we will always follow National Guidance and our safeguarding procedures to make sure our young people are kept safe when online.

Can you support SEN/ Neurodivergent young people?

The self-directed approach to learning means that young people are encouraged to listen to their bodies and to meet their own needs. Members of the community will have the opportunity to choose how to spend their time and to follow their own interests.

Fell Kin is committed to meeting the needs of our community and providing a space where young people who are Neurodivergent or/and have SEN and Neurodiversity can thrive, however, our emphasis on autonomy means that we are unable to provide consistent 1-to-1 support.

Please get in touch if you would like to discuss whether Fell Kin would be able to meet the needs of your family.
